After the short US tour two months ago we didn't hear a lot about Rammstein lately. Where are you guys?
Paul: We're currently in a studio in Hamburg and are working on some Depeche Mode songs. We got an offer from the USA to record a song for a Depeche Mode tribute album, which will be released this Summer. Our favourites are oldies like "Black Celebration" and "Master And Servant".
When will we get a new Rammstein album?
Paul: 1997 was a turbulent and hectic year for us. We want to take some time for the next CD. We'll start recording this Fall. But in March we'll release a new EP which contains our debut single "Du riechst so gut" in its original form plus some new remixes.
When are you going to play live again?
Paul: We're headliners for "Rock am Ring" and "Rock im Park" this year. More Open Airs are scheduled for July and August.
Is it true that you're shooting a movie?
Paul: That's still top secret! We're reading a script now and haven't decided anything yet. We're supposed to play in a love drama.
