Reception

  • A review done by an author of German radio station SWR2[2] highlighted and featured the entirety of the poem Wenn du schläfst questioning how far artistic freedom should go. The following days, the debate got picked up by several media outlets in which some accused Till of glorifying and downplaying rape. The publisher issued a statement, defending the poem for the sake of artistic freedom.[3]
