Connection to Rammstein

  • In 2003, Apocalyptica released a cover of Seemann with Nina Hagen on vocals. They also released the song as a single.
  • Apocalyptica were the support act of Rammstein during most dates of the Reise, Reise Tour in 2005. They occasionally performed Ohne dich and Mein Herz brennt together.
  • Later that year, the band contributed the "Kerosinii Remix" to the Benzin single.
  • In 2007, the band covered the David Bowie song Helden with Till Lindemann and Richard Kruspe.
    • Rammstein later sued their label GUN records, who were responsible for promoting the album, as the promotion of the album did not conform to the wishes of the band. The lawsuit ended with the closure of GUN records.[1]
  • Apocalyptica occasionally performed together with Rammstein on a few concerts.
