Information

  • The film used for this video is Olympia - Fest der Völker by German director Leni Riefenstahl from 1936 (released 1938).
  • The montage for the music video was made by Philipp Stölzl and Sven Budelmann.
  • Rammstein were often accused of being far-right because of this video. Till's daughter even asked him if he played in a Nazi band.
  • Originally, the band had a different idea for the video, which involved a Russian corn binder, a plow and a lot of "Sergej Eisenstein-romantic".[1]
