Rise or Die is a song by the Japanese rock-duo VAMPS.
Information
The song was released first as a b-side to the single Inside Of Me on 31 August 2016. It was later also released on the album Underworld on 26 April 2017. The song features Richard on guitar. He also wrote the song. Originally the song was demoed by Richard for his band Emigrate, but he gave it to VAMPS, after they asked.[1]. Additional writing was done by HYDE, Howard Benson, Lenny Skolnik and Seanne Bowe. The song was produced by Richard and Howard Benson.
The word "Buttobashite" (ぶっ飛ばして) can have one of the following translations: to beat/knock, to jump with force, to accomplish a task very rapidly, to drive at full speed.
On 12 November 2021, the original version of the song, I'm Still Alive, has been released on the Emigrate album The Persistence of Memory.
