Information
- On 11 November 2022, the production firm of the director revealed the music video shoot.[1]
- After being announced to premiere on 13 January 2023[2], Kovacs had postponed the release. "It had to do with her own trauma and addictions. The song is therefore a song that is closer to her life than any other song she has written: it is about abuse of the singer in her youth. 'Overcoming it. That the traumas no longer prevail and that you free yourself from things in your life and become stronger. This is also the case with drugs and alcohol. Child of sin is the moment I say goodbye to the dark and self-destructive in me. I have learned to love myself. That was quite a journey.'"[3]
- Starting from 5 July, daily teasers were released on both Kovacs' and Till Lindemann's Instagram, with the third revealing the premiere time.[4][5][6]
