Mike Oldfield im Schaukelstuhl (full title: Mike Oldfield im Schaukelstuhl: Notizen eines Vaters) is a book by Werner Lindemann about his son, Till Lindemann.
Information
The book is written about a nine month period that Werner had with his son, when he was 19 years old. The book was first released in 1988. It was successful in the German Democratic Republic.
In 2006 the book was reissued with a different cover. This time it shows Till on a chair on railroad tracks.
On 5 March 2020 the book will be reissued a second time. This time it also includes an afterword by Till himself.[1]
Imprimatur
An imprimatur (sometimes abbreviated as impr., from Latin, "let it be printed") is a declaration authorizing publication of a book.[2]
The imprimatur for the book was handed in on 16 December 1987. It was demanded to print 10,000 copies of the book. It also included an expertise by the publisher, which reads as follows:
