Song by Russ and The Velvets from the album Lady Revolver | |
Recorded: | 1994-2010 |
Released: | 26 November 2010 |
Length: | 04:12 |
Information
- The recordings with Till took place in 1994 (according to the booklet) or in Winter 1995 (according to songwriter Kai-Uwe Kohlschmidt), but the song was released in 2010.
- The song can't be found on digital versions of the album, it's only available on the CD, which is out of print.
- The song was written for the short movie "Scheißleben" by Bernd Heiber, which was released in 1996. It played in a bar scene, where only losers were sitting, but being proud of their lives. None of them speaks English, which Kai-Uwe tried to show through the silly pronounced English and weird lyrics.[1]
