1993

The Inchtabokatables were a German band, formed in 1991 in Berlin. 2002 the band started a break for eleven years, which they extended for another eleven years in 2013.

Information

The band was formed on 7 February 1991, in the Berlin pub "Bärenschänke". The band told themselves not to use any guitars in their music. In 1992 the band released their first album "Inchtomanie", which was well received in the Folk-Rock scene. Shortly after the release founding member Franzi Underdrive left the band and was replaced by Oliver Riedel on bass. After joining he mentioned that he would only stay for a year, until Franzi gave birth to her child, and leave afterward. With Olli, they recorded the album White Sheep. But after one year Olli left the band to be part of, then freshly founded, the band Rammstein. He left saying "I'll never learn to play bass with you".[1]
