This leg of the tour was plagued with many shows and performances getting cancelled due to circumstances. While Flake was at the Dresden Symphony Orchestra, he was among the many people that contracted salmonella due to food poisoning. Flake was hospitalized and while he was released, the band was advised by doctors to not perform and as such, cancelled their Austria, Italy and Slovenia appearances. In the end, he lost about 10% of his total weight.[1] The tour was also supposed to finish at the Off Limits Festival in Germany, however, the Leipzig show moved from Festwiese to Messehalle and the show at Essen's Georg-Melches-Stadion moved to Dortmund's Westfalenhalle. Afterwards, the entire festival was cancelled because of the recent school shooting in Erfurt.[2]
