Lied von der unruhevollen Jugend is the seventh song on the album Hea Hoa Hoa Hea Hea Hoa by Feeling B.

Background

  • The original Russian song is titled Песня о тревожной молодости (Pesnya o trevozhnoy molodosti) and was written by Александра Пахмутова (Aleksandra Pakhmutova) and Лев Ошанин (Lev Oshanin) in 1958. Feeling B made a cover of this song which they released on their album Hea Hoa Hoa Hea Hea Hoa.
  • Before Feeling B, Paul performed the song with B.R.O.N.X..[1]
  • The drums in the Feeling B album version were recorded at Till's home.[2]
  • The song can also be found on Feeling B's self-released EP Flüstern & schreien where it is titled Sabota.
  • Rammstein played an altered Feeling B version of the song at their concerts in Russia on 17 November 2001 and 19 November 2001. The lyrics were mainly sung by Paul with Till and Flake on backing vocals.

(unintelligible line),

Zabota u nas prostaya,
Zabota nasha takaya —
Zhila by strana rodnaya,
I netu drugikh zabot!
I sneg, i veter,
I zvyozd nochnoy polyot...
Menya moyo serdtse
V trevozhnuyu dal' zovyot.

I sneg, i veter,
I zvyozd nochnoy polyot...
Menya moyo serdtse
V trevozhnuyu dal' zovyot.

Poka ya hodit' umeyu
(poka ya hodit' umeyu),
Poka ya glyadet' umeyu
(unintelligible line),
I sneg, i veter
(i zvyozd nochnoy polyot)...
Menya moyo serdtse
V trevozhnuyu dal' zovyot.

I sneg, i veter,
I zvyozd nochnoy polyot...
Menya moyo serdtse
V trevozhnuyu dal' zovyot.

Zabota u nas prostaya,
Zabota nasha takaya —
Zhila by strana rodnaya,
I netu drugikh zabot!

Our concern is simple,
This is our concern —
If only the home country would live,
And there're no other concerns!
And snow, and wind,
And night flight of the stars...
My heart calls me
Into the restless distance.

And snow, and wind,
And night flight of the stars...
My heart calls me
Into the restless distance.

As long as I'm able to walk
(as long as I'm able to walk),
As long as I'm able to see
(unintelligible line),
And snow, and wind
(and night flight of the stars)...
My heart calls me
Into the restless distance.

And snow, and wind,
And night flight of the stars...
My heart calls me
Into the restless distance.

Our concern is simple,
This is our concern —
If only the home country would live,
And there're no other concerns!
