Das gemeine Reitbein is the only album by Magdalene Keibel Combo. It was initially released in 1988 and reissued in 1990.

Some of the songs were later used in different projects. Tschaka appeared on Feeling B's album Hea Hoa Hoa Hea Hea Hoa, Graf Zahl and Herzschrittmacher on Feeling B's Grün & Blau, Klaus Kinski's riff on Heirate mich and parts of Happy were used in Gesichter's only released song SK 8 Gesichter.
A yellow and a white cover version of this album exist. It is presumed that one of these versions is the original release, and one is the reissue on DD Music Records.
- DD Music Records only released albums on cassette,^[1] but a CD version is listed on Discogs.^[2] It is unknown if this version of the album is fake.

Except "Tom Dooley", "Sak Sak Sak Sakrowski" and "Herzschrittmacher", no songs mentioned on the album cover. "Er hat's geschafft" and "Immer an der Wand lang" were released on CD. All other songs are officially untitled.
