Mikko Sirén (born 31.12.1975 in Helsinki) is a Finnish musician and composer. He plays drums for Apocalyptica, Emigrate, Megaphone, and Kengurumeininki.
Biography
Sirén had his first drumming lessions when he was six years old. Since 2003 he is part of the live shows for Apocalyptica and since 2005 he is a full member of the band. Together with Perttu Kivilaakso he composed the soundtrack for the game "Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne".
He has a degree in Jazz music. He also writes a blog to raise awareness for our climate: Ilmasto on hot
Since 2013 he is officially a member of Emigrate.
