Information
The album is a mix of mostly old songs, mixed with a few new tracks. Paul was asked in an interview about that:[1]
The cover of your new LP states that some songs are older, some are new. Which songs are old and which are new?
First Aljoscha only wanted to use all the old songs, but then I said that we also need a few new songs on the record... "DDR" is new, we recorded it specifically for that reason, together with the Jugendclub Ilmenau, which we forgot to mention on the cover... "Every Night" is old, "Dumdum Geschoß" is also old. "You can't beat the Feeling B" is an old instrumental idea, for which we never managed to make a song out of, so I said that we do something with a wind section, just so we have something new again. It's also not mixed, it's the raw version on the record. The "Slamersong" is also recorded new for the album. "Izrael" is old, "Schlendrian" is new, whereas we had the idea for it for a long time already. "Soviel was ich sah" is old, "Hopla He" is old, "Schampuu-Schaum" is old, "II. Finale" is also really old, "Unter dem Pflaster" is old, "Du findest keine Ruh" is old, and "Revolution 89"... you know it.
