The release was teased on 30 November with a video on different social media platforms of Till's own profile, revealing only his name and the song title. On 1 December 2020 the single went up for pre-order and was followed by a second teaser announcing David Garrett.
On Amazon the vinyl single went online under the title of Montag ist schön with the artist given as Various. This was a placeholder, like what had been done for Mathematik.
