Information
- Till's appearance was announced on 26 August in his Instagram story.
- The concert caused a lot of controversy around Till Lindemann:[1]
- Till's manager Anar Reiband faced legal issues for violating migration laws. He was accused of declaring tourism as the purpose of his entry into Russia, while in fact organizing Till Lindemann’s concert at the “MacLarin for the Motherland” festival. Reiband was charged under Part 2 of Article 18.8 of the Russian Administrative Code (violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of entry regulations or residency rules in Russia). The materials against him were sent to the city court of Konakovo.
- Due to the ongoing corona virus, it was ruled that no more than 500 people were allowed in front of the stage. Till was visited by law enforcement in the Zavidovo hotel, where he was issued a warning and pressured to follow the anti-corona virus rules.
- As a result the concert did not took place. According to the festival's organizer, Afanasy Holding, Till also did not pay back the money he received to play the concert. Afanasy Holding went to court in Russia and Berlin. In 2026, Till had to pay back all the money he received from Afanasy Holding for the planned concert.[2]
