• In an interview Richard says that the song comes from a time when he lived in Soho, New York City. Richard moved back to Berlin in 2011. Since he mentioned being inspired by the cinematography of the 2007 movie I Am Legend starring Will Smith, Blood Stained Wedding was written between 2007 and 2011.
