Translations

The book was translated into Polish as Ciche noce (released in 2014), English as On quiet nights (released in 2015) and Russian as V tikhoy nochi (Cyrillic: В тихой ночи) (released in 2016).

Usage

  • The poem Sing für mich partly appeared in the poem Spieluhr of the Rammstein book. The poem later reappeared in a reworked form as the lyrics of the song Hallomann.
  • The 2003 demo song Student features a line from the poem Das Experiment.
  • Another 2003 demo song, Ich bin, features lines from the poem Hare Krishna.
  • The poem Was ich liebe features the first verse and the chorus of both the leaked 2008 demo version and the finished version of the song Was ich liebe. However, the poem was slightly edited to better fit the tempo.
  • The poem Warmer Tag partly appears in lyrics for both a demo version of the song Gib mir deine Augen and Sex.
  • Parts of the poem Ich bin nicht böse were reworked into the song Ich liebe das Leben.
  • Another line from Sex is sourced from the poem Elegie für Marie Antoinette.
  • The Badly Lindemann T-Shirt features a print of the poem Ich liebe dich.
  • The lyrics of the song Puppe are a reworked version of the poem Wenn Mutti spät zur Arbeit geht. The poem itself was heavily influenced by the GDR children's song Wenn Mutti früh zur Arbeit geht.[1]
  • The lyrics of the song Weit weg are a reworked version of the poem Mitternacht.
