Promotion

The single had a few different promotional CDs with different contents. Promotional CDs were released mainly in Germany, Mexico and the USA. The German 2-track single includes a special shortened edit of the "Westbam Technolectro Remix" of the song, which is not available anywhere else.

The German promotional CD included a two-sided promotional sheet, which presented the following text:

German original

Basta!

English Deepl translation

Rammstein, that is consistency, quality and pure skill. Some results. The numerous awards and award nominations at home and abroad speak for themselves. But Rammstein is also change, experimentation and further development. The mixture of metal elements, pop-tinged hooks and driving techno beats laid the foundation for the sensational success of the band, which has now created another exceptional album with the album Mutter.

This was already emphatically proven by the heroic, anthemic pre-release single Sonne - and so it was then no surprise that Mutter not only immediately took over the pole position of the charts in this country again, but also in Austria, Switzerland and in the European Album Charts No. 2.

Now comes the next single with Links 2 3 4 (release date: 14.5.01). A track with which Rammstein first of all make one thing definitely clear, even for the last doubters: The Rammstein heart beats on the left. Basta! But besides this political declaration, Links 2 3 4 is first and foremost one thing - a terrific song in best Rammstein style!

As you would expect from Rammstein, however, this is not all that distinguishes the single. Links 2 3 4 contains Halleluja, an exclusive non-album track, as well as two great remixes by none other than DJ Westbam himself (Technolectro Mix and Hard Rock Café Mix) and a metal mix from the Clawfinger forge.
