In 2003, Apocalyptica covered Seemann with Nina Hagen providing vocals, and released it as a single.

Promotion

A German promo CD of the single was released by Motor Music, named "Seemann / Der Meister". The CD itself is completely identical to the retail CD release. Some copies of this CD came with a Motor Music Info Card which was inserted inside of its cardsleeve. Unfortunately, while some low quality images exist publicly of the info card, the text on the front side is illegible.

Motor Music also distributed promo VHS tapes to journalists. These tapes contained the Seemann music video.

Misprint

All singles show a length of 05:00 for the song. But all versions of the single include the standard album version with 04:48. Up to now, no 5min version has been released anywhere.
