Song gegen Song was a social media action Rammstein have started, taking place exclusively in their Instagram stories. It began on 17 September 2021 and ended on 19 October 2021.
Information
- The game consisted of a daily upload in the Instagram stories, each using the voting function between two songs.
- It was interrupted on 4 October due to a worldwide outage of Facebook and its servers, which affected the Instagram platform as well.
- The 32 titles of the basic rounds were grouped by theme similarity and the order taken from the RAMMSTEIN essentials Spotify playlist, which was altered just a few months prior for this purpose. With each finished battle the playlist was shortened, omitting the losing song.
