Information
- This single was released because the band thought that the song didn't get the attention it deserved with its first release.[1]
- The single includes the original 1995 music video of the song, which was its first ever release.
- The exact release date is not 100% known. While a magazine advert give a release date of 27 April 1998, the promotional sheets say 18 May 1998, and the official Rammstein website says, that the single was released on 25 May 1998. For the wiki we go with the advertising release date.
Promotion
The single had three promotional releases: one CD, one cassette and one VHS. The CD does not differ in any way from the retail single, except for the "For Promotional Use Only" text. The cassette comes with a standard Motor Music promotional cover, but does also include all the same songs as the CD does. The VHS includes the final music video to the song.
The promotional CD sometimes also included a promotional sheet, which presented the following text:

RAMMSTEIN sind ein PHÄNOMEN. Die erfolgreichste Rockband des letzten Jahres. Geehrt mit Platinschallplatten, dem silbernen Bravo-Otto und einem ECHO. Mehr als 1.3 Milo verkaufte Alben und drei Single-Hits im Jahre 1998 - und jetzt auch noch auf dem Sprung in die US-Charts. Eine aufregende Bilanz. |

RAMMSTEIN are a PHENOM. The most successful rock band of the last year. Honored with platinum records, the silver Bravo-Otto and an ECHO. More than 1.3 milo sold albums and three single hits in 1998 - and now also on the jump into the US charts. An exciting balance sheet. |
Mispress
There is one mispress of the single known to exist. Also only one copy has been found so far. In addition to the standard single tracks, the mispress includes the last five songs of the album Herzeleid. The CD print is also different from the original, plus it is a blue CD, instead of a normal silver one. The origin and exact numbers of these mispresses remain unknown.
